Congratulations on your commitment to your child's physical development. We are pleased you have chosen our facility for your child. We pledge to uphold our philosophy, which is to enhance each child's fitness and self esteem through the fun and enjoyment of gymnastics in a noncompetitive environment. Our entire curriculum, our bi weekly lesson plans, and our day to day relationships with our students are guided by this mission. Procedures and PoliciesNew StudentsNew students may join at any time during a session as long as there is space in your desired class. If a class is full, your name will be placed on a wait list. You may be on any 2 wait lists. Tuition will be pro-rated relative to your start date.Tuition Payment and Due DateFull tuition is due on the first day of class. If you choose to make installment payments, you are still responsible for the full session tuition. Installment payments must be made using our electronic fund transfer system and charged on the first of the month. Any changes to an electronic payment must be made in writing. If at any time a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, we charge $40. Annual Registration feeThis is a $35 fee due upon initial registration and on your yearly anniversary date thereafter. This fee defrays administrative and insurance enrollment costs and entitles you to member benefits. DiscountsWe are happy to offer family and multiple class discounts. A 10% discount is given off additional classes within a session and a 20% discount for siblings. A Twin sibling gets a 50% discount! We also know that we can not always offer exactly what all children need at every stage of their development. That is why we offer the following guarantee: If at anytime during the first month (4 consecutive weeks from dated enrolled) you are not completely satisfied with our program, we will refund your tuition. Note: Our money back guarantee is intended for families BRAND NEW to Planet Gymnastics. Moving to a New ClassWe will gladly accommodate class change requests (assuming there is a vacancy in your desired class.) If your child is moving into a different class we STRONGLY suggest you come and watch the class BEFORE you're scheduled to switch. This way the parent and child know what to expect. Make upsMake ups are unlimited. However, make ups must be scheduled in advance using our self serve system. Make ups are offered on a space availability basis only and must be completed with in the same session. It is extremely important to inform the office (via written make up card) in advance if you know your child/children will miss a class. Again, our make up system is self serve; please do not rely on the office for scheduling make ups. Thanks! Dress CodePlease make sure your child is properly dressed for class. Baggy and inappropriate clothing make an unsafe situation for both your child and our teachers. If a child is not dressed appropriately they will not be allowed to participate. A make up for this class can be scheduled. Preferred Dress for BoysShorts or sweatpants (please make sure pants are ankle length only) Preferred Dress for GirlsLeotards Punctuality PolicyWe ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. Every class begins with a warm-up period. This warm-up period is important and necessary for every student. It provides physical and mental preparation for a class, and when performed completely will help prevent injuries. Therefore, if your child arrives late (more than 10 minutes for Gymstars, 15 minutes for Gymgirls/Gymboys) she/he will NOT be allowed to join the class. A make-up for this class can be scheduled. Parent ResponsibilitiesBefore Class: Parents should accompany young children to the bathroom before class. Upon arrival, students should store their shoes and outdoor attire in any of the cubbies provided. Please don't leave them on the bleachers or around the lobby. All parents must watch their children before class and their siblings during the lesson. Parents and siblings are not allowed in the party rooms or mini gym.
In Observation Area: Children are not to run or tumble in the lobby, and can not go into the gym without an instructor. At all time parents are required to supervise their children who are not enrolled in class at Planet Gymnastics.
After Class: At Planet Gymnastics, we believe a parent's #1 responsibility is to be supportive of their child. Show your child that you believe he/she is a great person. Making their best effort is all that matters.
If you are routinely late picking up your child we suggest exploring an alternative class time to better match your schedule. We reserve the right to charge a fee for late pick ups that negatively affects our staff?s schedule.
Other Reminders To Parents: Parents are not allowed in the gym or on equipment. If a parent has a special reason to go in the gym, it must be cleared by management and a waiver must be signed.
